Following a minor plumbing leak, the homeowner was left with a water-damaged drywall and a swollen baseboard. Although the leak was fixed, the damaged area was an eyesore in the living room and required more than just a simple coat of paint to fix.
We removed the damaged section of the wall and replaced it with fresh plasterboard and a professional skim coat. The baseboard was custom-cut to match the existing profile exactly. After precision sanding, we color-matched the paint to ensure the repair blended perfectly with the surrounding wall.
The repair is completely invisible. The homeowners avoided the cost of a full room renovation while restoring the clean look of their living space. It was a quick, clean solution that left the wall looking as if the damage had never happened.
